Bad Luck Kitteh

You ask a lot of Humanz wat they think of meez and some will say I'm this!

I personally find it to be ah dah discrimination.  You know the stereotypes of being black!  After allz how many times do you see people worried to cross ah dah white cat?  Itz true!  According to Wikipedia (dah best most reliable resource in academia today)we black cats are victims of dah prejudice and da superstition of bad luck!  

Mah human'z hubbeh thinkah I've been bad luck cause since I came to liveah wit mah human and her'z family she has been in a car wreck, diagnosed with amoebic dysentary, had a hiatal hernia, laproscopy, and den another more serious car accident.  It wasn't mah fault doh!  It was just a bad coincidence.  

BUT we also be signs of good luck!  Back in olden daze Egyptians loved da black kittehs cause we represented the Egyptian God Bast.  Fisherman always used symbols of us black cats for good luck and der wives would keep ah black catz in der homes to ensure da hubbehs comb home safely! We also have been features in religions like Wicca as magical and in Chinese culture as a form of the famed "Success Cat".  

In modern art I am a muse for many, especially in da days of Impressionism.  In Las Vegas all da cool magicians have da kitties and many of us are black.  Dat is probably part of da reason mah human wanted a black cat.  She knew just how cool we be.  Truth be told I never cauzed her bad luck but I sure do makeh a her happy as she recovers.  Black Cats get a bad rap, in reel life though we are da good luck and bring joy to everyone!  Dat is why mah human loves meez!
